I’ve just been searching around on google, trying to find books related to travelling around the world with kids. It seems that none exist, so I guess I’ll just have to go with standard Lonely Planet guides or Rough Guides and use some common sense. What I really wanted though was just a book to get me in the mood. I’ve only heard a story from one couple who took their 3 year old on a round the world trip, but I know there many more out there.
There seem to be some general books related to travel with babies and young children, but the review I’ve read say they not very good. With tips like “Travel light by taking just 2 sets of clothes per child, one to wear and one to wash” I would tend to agree! I mean really?!
Does anyone have any good world travel books to get me in the mood, or even any other websites with people writing or blogging about it?

This book Adventuring with children, by Nan Jeffrey is highly recommended (we were lucky enough to stumble across it in a charity shop).
